Seven Sibylline Sayings

Pain is the primordial evil.

Pleasure is the primordial good.

Balance is the mainspring of the universe.

Creativity is the secret of life.

Courage is the cardinal virtue.

Consciousness is what makes us human.

Celebration is a necessity for the spiritual life.

Initiation--Coming Among Us

One should precede their initiation with intensive study.

Some form of offering should be made, for instance a temporary vow of silence where the candidate speaks to no one outside the chosen circle unless absolutely necessary.  This quiet time can be spent in contemplation.

Initiation is symbolic.  The candidate must be so sure of their preparedness before they approach and view the Holy Regalia and drink of the Graal.

One cannot go to the holy things unprepared.

The Graal

Leave a good quantity of spring water outside in the moonlight three nights before the Full Moon, the Full Moon night, and three nights after the Full Moon.  You may wish to steep rosemary, rose petals, or mint in the water.  Let the water absorb the lunar energies.

The Graal is to be tasted at initiation and at no other time.

The Goddess

Such is the power She harnesses that She may play upon the humans of Her choosing.  Such is the power that they squeak and drool and otherwise humble themselves before Her, regardless of her respectful and benevolent view of them.  'Tis a power begun on the inside that gestates and grows throughout Her until it, finally, blooms in mind and body.  'Tis a power She wields with love and compassion for all, desiring to embrace all and exclude none.
